Lakeview Farms, a portfolio company of CapVest Partners, completed the acquisition of noosa Holdings, Inc. from The Campbell's Company on February 24, 2025; the combined businesses will rebrand as Novus Foods in H2 2025. Silver Point Capital’s Direct Lending business led a $500 million term loan facility to finance the acquisition and refinance Lakeview Farms’ existing debt.

Danone Acquires Kate Farms

Danone has acquired Kate Farms, a U.S.-based maker of plant-based clinical nutrition formulas, bringing the company into Danone’s North America Medical Nutrition business. Investors including Novo Holdings, Goldman Sachs, Kaiser Ventures, Main Street Advisors, Aliment, Coeffecient, Ithaka and individual investors supported Kate Farms’ growth and are parties to the transaction. Kate Farms will continue operating as part of Danone’s North America Medical Nutrition unit under leadership led by Brett Matthews.

Bain Capital Acquires Valeo Foods from CapVest

Bain Capital Private Equity has agreed to acquire Valeo Foods Group from funds managed by CapVest. Valeo is a pan‑European ambient food company headquartered in Dublin with a portfolio including Jacobs, Kettle and Rowse, generating roughly €1.1 billion in annual net sales and employing over 4,000 people; Bain said it will seek to accelerate growth organically and via acquisitions. The transaction is subject to regulatory approvals and the financial terms were not disclosed.
