Handgards, a portfolio company of Wynnchurch Capital, has acquired Inno-Pak, a Delaware, Ohio–headquartered designer and manufacturer of sustainable foodservice packaging, from Emerald Lake Capital Management. The add-on strengthens Handgards' converting and sourcing capabilities and expands its offering into grocery, convenience and hospitality end markets; terms were not disclosed.

ProAmpac Acquires Belle-Pak Packaging

Capital portfolio company, has completed add-on acquisitions of Atlapac Corporation (Columbus, Ohio) and the Inno-lok division of Polymer Packaging (Massillon, Ohio). The deals expand Dazpak's flexible packaging footprint into the Midwest, broaden its product offering (including INNO-LOK reclosable pouches), and increase the combined company's customer reach across food & beverage, homecare and healthcare end markets.

Novacap Acquires Alliance Labeling (Alliance IntraPak, Northpoint Industries)

Novacap, a North American private equity firm, has acquired Alliance Labeling Inc., a Canadian provider of value-added packaging, co-packing and warehousing solutions (including divisions Alliance IntraPak Inc. and Northpoint Industries Ltd.). The investment will support Alliance's operational expansion in Canada and the U.S., and Novacap intends to accelerate capability development — notably automation through Northpoint — and pursue targeted growth initiatives.

Inno-Pak Acquires Stalk Market

US-based food-packaging provider Inno-Pak has acquired compostable packaging manufacturer Stalk Market for an undisclosed sum. The deal brings plant-based, BPI/DIN/OK Compost-certified containers, cups, cutlery and related products into Inno-Pak's portfolio to expand its sustainable packaging offerings across North, Central and South America.
