QE Solar Acquires Tritium3 Renewable Services

QE Solar, backed by private equity firm 424 Capital, acquired Tritium3 Renewable Services (Tritium Enterprises, LLC) of Honolulu, Hawaii. The add-on expands QE's operations & maintenance capabilities into utility-scale solar and battery energy storage (BESS), adding ~300 MW of O&M assets in Hawaii and supporting QE's growth to over 4 GW of assets under management.

The investment will provide capital to support QE Solar's nationwide workforce growth and expand its capabilities in solar and battery storage services; QE Solar employs over 80 field technicians and engineers and services more than 2.0 GW of C&I solar installations.

Equinor and SSE Thermal have completed the £341 million acquisition of Triton Power from Energy Capital Partners, forming a 50:50 joint venture to own Triton. The deal includes the 1.2 GW Saltend Power Station and positions the buyers to decarbonise flexible power generation — including plans to prepare Saltend to run on up to 30% hydrogen from 2027 and eventual conversion to hydrogen — while supporting Equinor's H2H Saltend hydrogen project.

Funds advised by Triton have signed an agreement to sell EQOS, a European specialty installation and service company focused on energy, telecoms and rail infrastructure, to Eiffage Énergie Systèmes. Terms were not disclosed; under Triton EQOS reached ~EUR 459m revenue and ~1,700 employees, and Eiffage said the acquisition will help it enter and densify energy infrastructure markets in Germany and Austria.
