QE Solar Acquires S3 Power, Inc.

QE Solar LLC has acquired S3 Power, Inc., a Walpole, Massachusetts-based specialist in medium- and high-voltage commissioning, testing, construction and maintenance for substations and renewable energy projects. The deal strengthens QE Solar's in-house MV/HV and substation servicing capabilities for utility-scale and distributed generation solar and BESS projects, and S3 owner James Swansey will join QE as Vice President, Medium Voltage and Protection & Controls.

424 Capital Acquires QE Solar

424 Capital has completed the acquisition of QE Solar, a Cranford, New Jersey-based provider of operations and maintenance (O&M) services for commercial, industrial, and utility-scale solar and battery energy storage systems. The investment will provide capital to support QE Solar's nationwide workforce growth and expand its capabilities in solar and battery storage services; QE Solar employs over 80 field technicians and engineers and services more than 2.0 GW of C&I solar installations.

QE Solar Acquires Donahue & Sons

QE Solar LLC has acquired Donahue & Sons Mgmt., Inc., expanding QE's nationwide operations and maintenance platform by adding large-scale vegetation management and site maintenance capabilities for solar, BESS and related energy installations. The deal integrates Donahue's leadership and staff into QE to provide expanded, end-to-end site stewardship and maintenance services for utility and commercial renewable projects.

Equinor and SSE Thermal Acquire Triton Power from Energy Capital Partners

Equinor and SSE Thermal have completed the £341 million acquisition of Triton Power from Energy Capital Partners, forming a 50:50 joint venture to own Triton. The deal includes the 1.2 GW Saltend Power Station and positions the buyers to decarbonise flexible power generation — including plans to prepare Saltend to run on up to 30% hydrogen from 2027 and eventual conversion to hydrogen — while supporting Equinor's H2H Saltend hydrogen project.

Eiffage Énergie Systèmes Acquires EQOS from Triton

Funds advised by Triton have signed an agreement to sell EQOS, a European specialty installation and service company focused on energy, telecoms and rail infrastructure, to Eiffage Énergie Systèmes. Terms were not disclosed; under Triton EQOS reached ~EUR 459m revenue and ~1,700 employees, and Eiffage said the acquisition will help it enter and densify energy infrastructure markets in Germany and Austria.

CleanCapital Acquires BQ Energy

CleanCapital has acquired 100% of BQ Energy (BQE), a U.S. developer specializing in landfill and brownfield solar development. The acquisition brings BQE’s pipeline—more than 300 MW of late-stage and 700+ MW of mid-stage solar projects—into CleanCapital to expand its development and construction capabilities in brownfield renewable energy.
