AdaptHealth, a nationwide durable medical equipment (DME) provider, has acquired Gammie HomeCare, a Hawaii-based supplier of mobility and rehabilitation equipment. The acquisition expands AdaptHealth's regional footprint in the Pacific and reflects continued consolidation of national DME platforms around strong local operators.

Marsh McLennan Agency (MMA) has acquired three Honolulu-based brokerages — Atlas Insurance Agency, Pyramid Insurance Centre, and IC International — from Tradewind Group. The brokerages and their employees will join MMA and continue operating locally as the firm expands its presence and capabilities across Hawai‘i; financial terms were not disclosed.

Amsterdam-based Solid Sands B.V. has acquired the technology and test suites of Plum Hall Inc., a long-standing supplier of C/C++ compiler test suites. The acquisition expands Solid Sands' product portfolio and market share in compiler and library validation while ensuring continued support and development of the Plum Hall suites for customers and compiler developers.

Pye-Barker Fire & Safety has acquired Lifeline Fire & Security, a Kapolei, Hawaii-based proactive video monitoring and security integration company. The deal gives Pye-Barker its first location in Hawaii and adds Lifeline's AI-driven video verification and 24/7 monitoring capabilities to Pye-Barker's national life-safety platform.

Resource Innovations (RI), a San Francisco–based utility software and consulting platform, has acquired Honolulu-based Shifted Energy to integrate its Grid Maestro DERMS technology into RI’s demand-side management (DSM) and grid-edge offerings. The deal expands RI’s capability to deliver end-to-end virtual power plant and flexible load management solutions at scale, with a focus on equitable access for renters and underserved communities.

Zazzle, the Menlo Park-based custom-products marketplace, has acquired Hobnob, a mobile-first event planning app, and will integrate Hobnob's invitation, RSVP and guest-management features into Zazzle Events. Hobnob founder Tina Fitch will join Zazzle as VP & GM of Zazzle Events to help deliver an end-to-end event planning and custom-products experience.

Creative Planning has acquired Honolulu-based Mosaic Pacific, a financial advisory firm, in a deal that closed June 30, 2025, adding roughly $430 million in AUM to Creative Planning's platform. The acquisition strengthens Creative Planning's presence in the Pacific region and brings Mosaic Pacific's financial planning and investment management expertise into Creative Planning's national wealth-management offering.

A newly formed partnership between First Reserve and funds managed by affiliates of Fortress Investment Group has acquired a majority stake in Island Energy Services (IES) from One Rock Capital Partners, with One Rock remaining as a minority investor. IES is a Hawaii-based integrated fuel import, storage, pipeline and distribution operator that also runs a 50-location Texaco-branded retail network; the transaction closed in mid-2025 and terms were not disclosed.

fifteenfortyseven Critical Systems Realty (1547) and Harrison Street have acquired DRFortress, Hawaii's largest carrier-neutral data center, from GI Partners. The deal brings DRFortress into 1547's connectivity-focused platform to expand interconnection, cloud access, and digital infrastructure reach across Hawaii and the broader Pacific region while keeping the existing leadership team in place.

Hope Bancorp, Inc. (the holding company of Bank of Hope) completed its merger with Territorial Bancorp, Inc., effective April 2, 2025. Territorial Savings will operate as a division of Bank of Hope and Territorial shareholders received 0.8048 shares of Hope Bancorp common stock for each Territorial share, creating the largest regional bank serving multi-cultural customers across the continental United States and Hawaii.

Sojourner Consumer Partners announced an investment in Hawaii Coffee Company and the formation of a new holding platform, SoJoe Coffee, in partnership with Anderson Holdings. The deal brings Hawaii Coffee Company into Sojourner's consumer-focused platform to support brand growth, e-commerce and sustainability initiatives; terms were not disclosed.

PRA, a Chicago-based business events management firm majority owned by EagleTree Capital, has acquired Island Style Innovations, a Hawai‘i-based destination management and events specialist. The Island Style Innovations team will join PRA’s Hawai‘i office and rebrand as PRA to expand the company’s local capabilities and strengthen its presence in the Hawaiian meetings, conventions, and incentive market.

Alaska Air Group, Inc. completed its acquisition of Hawaiian Holdings, Inc., combining Alaska Airlines and Hawaiian Airlines to create a larger carrier with expanded domestic and international networks. The deal preserves both brands initially, aims to integrate operations over time (including a single FAA operating certificate), and is intended to deliver network growth, customer benefits and significant synergies.

ChannelEngine, a Netherlands-based marketplace integration and ecommerce platform, has acquired Retail Data Partners, a Hawaii-headquartered SaaS provider of Amazon Vendor tools. The acquisition expands ChannelEngine’s capabilities for first-party (1P) and hybrid selling on Amazon by adding vendor analytics, dispute automation, catalog management, and forecasting functionality.

The Stephens Group, LLC completed a strategic growth investment in VisionSafe, LLC to accelerate the company's research & development, certification efforts, sales and customer support while positioning VisionSafe as a Stephens Group platform. VisionSafe, headquartered in Kaneohe, Hawaii, is a long-running developer and manufacturer of the Emergency Vision Assurance System (EVAS) and provides maintenance and inspection services for cockpit smoke displacement systems across commercial, cargo, business and government aircraft.

Rain or Shine, Inc., owned by Josh Margolis, completed the acquisition of Pomare, Ltd., the company operating under the Hilo Hattie trade name. JANAS acted as sellside advisor representing the owner; the deal moves ownership from the Pomare family to Rain or Shine after delays caused by COVID-19 and other local disruptions.

Majesco has acquired the Decision Research Corporation (DRC) insurance software business, adding DRC's enterprise rating engine, reinsurance solution, and P&C core platform to Majesco's product portfolio. The acquisition brings over 20 P&C customers into Majesco's community and expands its capabilities for MGAs, MGUs and smaller insurers to accelerate speed to market and product innovation.

IntelliBridge, a portfolio company of Enlightenment Capital, has acquired RevaComm, Inc. (RVCM), a Hawaii-based digital transformation firm specializing in agile DevSecOps, cloud solutions, and cybersecurity for federal civilian and defense agencies. The deal adds nearly 200 software, cyber, and design professionals and RVCM's SBIR/IDIQ contract vehicles to IntelliBridge's capabilities, strengthening its offerings to DoD and FedCiv customers.

USI Insurance Services has acquired Honolulu-based Cavanah Associates, Inc., an independent brokerage specializing in commercial and personal risk insurance. The undisclosed transaction establishes a Hawaii-based presence for USI and strengthens its commercial and personal risk insurance capabilities by integrating Cavanah's local team into the USI platform.

QE Solar, backed by private equity firm 424 Capital, acquired Tritium3 Renewable Services (Tritium Enterprises, LLC) of Honolulu, Hawaii. The add-on expands QE's operations & maintenance capabilities into utility-scale solar and battery energy storage (BESS), adding ~300 MW of O&M assets in Hawaii and supporting QE's growth to over 4 GW of assets under management.

Imperial Dade, a Jersey City–based distributor of foodservice packaging and janitorial supplies, has acquired Triple F Distributing, the market-leading Hawaii distributor of foodservice packaging, janitorial supplies and sustainable packaging. The transaction — Imperial Dade's 65th acquisition — expands the buyer's geographic footprint into the Hawaiian Islands; financial terms were not disclosed and Triple F's management will remain in place.

PRA, a Chicago-based business events firm and portfolio company of EagleTree Capital, has acquired Hawai‘i-based destination management company Weil & Associates. The deal brings Weil’s local team and destination expertise into PRA’s platform as PRA Hawai‘i, expanding PRA’s capabilities in the incentive and Hawaiian markets.

ProService Hawaii has acquired Makai HR, a Hawaii-based HR administration and PEO provider that serves roughly 200 client employers (about 4,000 worksite employees). Makai's staff and executive team will join ProService Hawaii, expanding ProService's local client base and HR/PEO capabilities and supporting accelerated technology development.

Silver Lake has partnered with the ProService management team and employee owners to invest in ProService, a Hawaii‑headquartered provider of bundled HR and PEO services. The transaction represents FFL Partners' exit after a six‑year partnership during which ProService grew roughly 2.5x; Silver Lake will support expansion of the company's technology and insurance capabilities and broader market growth.

ALKEME, a Top-50 insurance brokerage backed by GCP Capital Partners, has acquired ACW Group, a Honolulu-based property and casualty insurance agency with offices in San Francisco and La Quinta, California. The acquisition brings ACW's team of more than 20 licensed agents into ALKEME's platform, expanding ALKEME's geographic footprint into Hawaii and bolstering its presence in California.

BrightView Holdings, Inc. (NYSE: BV) acquired Island Plant Company, LLC, a Maui-based landscape maintenance, installation, and design firm. The acquisition expands BrightView's commercial landscaping presence in Hawaii and supports succession planning for Island Plant's founders; financial terms were not disclosed.

Outdoor Living Supply (OLS), a Trilantic-backed distribution platform focused on hardscapes, has acquired Geobunga, an independent Honolulu-based distributor of garden elements, natural stone, pavers, bulk materials and landscape supplies. The founders Layla and Andrew Dedrick will remain in leadership roles as OLS expands its footprint into the Hawaiian market as an add-on to its platform.

Core & Main, Inc. has acquired substantially all of the assets of Distributors, Inc., a Honolulu-based full-service distributor of fire protection products and fabrication services. The acquisition expands Core & Main's fire protection footprint in Hawaii and brings Distributors, Inc.'s local expertise and fabrication capabilities into Core & Main's national distribution platform.

BrightView Holdings, Inc. (NYSE: BV) has acquired SGS Hawaii, a Wailuku-based commercial landscaping company with operations on Maui, the Big Island and Kauai. SGS Hawaii, founded in 1995 with more than 100 landscape professionals and a predominantly electric fleet, will expand BrightView's presence in Hawaii and strengthen its resort/hospitality landscaping capabilities.

SAS has acquired Honolulu-based Kamakura Corporation to integrate Kamakura’s ALM, credit models and risk-data offerings into SAS’ cloud-ready Viya platform. The deal brings Kamakura’s software, subscription data services and specialist risk team into SAS to strengthen its asset-liability management and balance-sheet risk solutions for banks, insurers and asset managers.

In February 2022 Trinity Investors partnered with RLG Capital to recapitalize Kamaka Air, a Honolulu-based inter-island air cargo and charter operator. Kamaka operates a fleet of Cessna 208Bs and Cessna 408 Sky Couriers, serves major parcel carriers including FedEx and UPS, and holds dominant market share on routes to/from Molokai and Lanai.

BrightView Holdings, Inc. has acquired Performance Landscapes, a Honolulu-based commercial landscaping company. Performance Landscapes — which has more than 100 employees and provides landscape maintenance, irrigation, installation, arbor care and pest control — will be integrated into BrightView's Hawaii operations with the founders and senior leadership remaining to guide the transition. The acquisition expands BrightView's maintenance capabilities in Hawaii alongside its existing Development Services business.

Gladstone Capital Corporation completed a senior debt and minority equity investment in WB Xcel Holdings, LLC (Xcel), a Hawaii-headquartered surf and watersports apparel and equipment brand. The capital will provide balance sheet flexibility, fund growth initiatives and support the company’s international expansion plans.

Core & Main, Inc. (NYSE: CNM) has completed the acquisition of Pacific Pipe Company, Inc., a Hawaii-based distributor of water, wastewater, storm drainage and irrigation products. The transaction expands Core & Main's geographic footprint into Hawaii and is the company's 13th acquisition since becoming independent in 2017.

CBB Bancorp, Inc., the holding company of Commonwealth Business Bank, has completed its acquisition of Ohana Pacific Bank, adding two branch locations in Honolulu, Hawaii. The deal expands CBB's geographic footprint into Hawaii and is expected to provide new sources of core deposit and loan growth while Ohana continues to operate as a division under its existing leadership.

Keysight Technologies has completed the acquisition of Sanjole, a provider of protocol decoding and interoperability test solutions for 4G, 5G and other wireless technologies. The deal augments Keysight’s 5G test and measurement portfolio by adding Sanjole’s hardware and software capabilities to help customers troubleshoot complex wireless protocol and interoperability issues; terms were not disclosed.

Anaqua, a provider of intellectual property management software, has acquired Quantify IP, a developer of global IP cost-estimating software, to integrate advanced cost budgeting and forecasting tools into its IP management platform. The acquisition expands Anaqua's product capabilities by adding Quantify IP's Global IP Estimator and Portfolio Estimator for law firms and corporate IP teams.

Hawaiian Cool Water, LLC (HCW), a Honolulu-based provider of water filtration and purification systems, has acquired AAA BestWater Co., Oahu's oldest and largest residential water filtration and softener company. The acquisition expands HCW's business into whole-home residential water treatment as the sellers, Dennis and Suzy Betsinger, retire.

VPLS, a global cloud-to-edge computing and solutions provider, has acquired ZR Systems, a managed IT services firm based in Aiea, Hawaii. The acquisition expands VPLS's data center footprint into Hawaii and broadens its onsite support, cloud, colocation and managed security offerings for local small businesses and growing enterprises.

Hawaii American Water acquired the assets and operations of Waimea Wastewater Company, becoming the wastewater service provider for approximately 217 residential and commercial connections, including North Hawaii Community Hospital and the Parker Ranch Center. Waimea Wastewater was a wholly owned subsidiary of Parker Ranch; the acquisition expands Hawaii American Water’s regulated service footprint on the Big Island of Hawaii (Hawaii American Water is a regional subsidiary of publicly traded American Water).

Tampa-based strategic acquirer Revolent Capital Solutions has recapitalized Armstrong Building Maintenance, a family-owned commercial janitorial and building maintenance company headquartered in Honolulu, Hawaii. Tom Tokars will remain active in leadership while Revolent provides capital and operating support to grow the business and expand capabilities amid heightened demand for enhanced cleaning and disinfection services.

Boardriders, Inc. sold its Xcel wetsuit brand to Colorado-based ZG Collective as part of a portfolio rationalization to focus investment on its six primary global brands and multi-year growth initiatives. The divestment, announced March 17, 2020, was described by Boardriders as aligning with its strategy to fund digital transformation, category extensions and sustainability programs; ROTH Capital Partners and K&L Gates advised Boardriders.

GI Partners, a private investment firm, acquired a majority interest in DR Fortress, LLC, Hawaii's largest carrier‑neutral data center, in partnership with DR Fortress' management team including co‑founders Fred Rodi and Rosa White. The investment is intended to accelerate growth, increase resiliency, and expand relationships with global cloud and content providers while maintaining local engagement in Hawaii and the broader Pacific region.

Sysco Corporation acquired Hawaii-based Armstrong Produce and Kula Produce, two sister fresh-produce wholesalers and distributors, which will operate as part of Sysco’s FreshPoint specialty produce division. The deal gives Sysco direct access to the Hawaiian market and expands FreshPoint’s local distribution capacity while retaining the acquired companies’ leadership and associates.

Chicago-based investment firm Kenex Holdings has acquired Bubbies Homemade Ice Cream & Desserts, the Aiea, Hawaii–based maker of premium mochi ice cream. Founder Keith Robbins will remain a significant investor while Kenex appoints Rick Schaffer as CEO to lead the next phase of growth and a leadership transition.
