Enhabit Acquires Caring Hearts Hospice

Enhabit, Inc. (Enhabit Home Health & Hospice) has acquired Caring Hearts Hospice, a locally owned hospice agency in Texas. The acquisition, effective Oct. 1, 2022, adds four hospice locations (Gun Barrel City, Mineola, Palestine, and Quinlan) to Enhabit's Texas footprint and strengthens its hospice service line.

Humana Inc. has signed a definitive agreement to acquire onehome (One Homecare Solutions) from WayPoint Capital Partners, accelerating Humana's development of a value-based home health offering and complementing its Kindred at Home integration. onehome, headquartered in Miramar, Florida, provides home-based services including home health, infusion, and DME and has experience with risk-based contracting in Florida and Texas; financial terms were not disclosed.
