Vontas, a Modaxo company, has acquired Orion Labs, a San Francisco–based voice-first collaboration and voice-AI platform. The acquisition adds Orion’s push-to-talk, location services, and AI-powered voice capabilities to Vontas’ OnTransit ITS solution to improve communications and situational awareness for transit agencies.

EFL Global Acquires Trans American Customhouse Brokers, Inc.

EFL Global has acquired Trans American Customhouse Brokers, Inc., a U.S.-based customs brokerage and logistics firm founded in 1984. The deal adds customs brokerage, clearance and consulting capabilities (including licensed brokers and digital clearance tools) to EFL's global supply chain offering and expands its integrated customs services across the U.S., Canada and Mexico.

Volaris Group Acquires Orkis

Volaris Group, a division of Constellation Software Inc., has acquired Orkis, a France-based provider of the Ajaris Digital Asset Management (DAM) software and premium hosting services. The deal brings Orkis' AI-enabled DAM capabilities and sovereign hosting into Volaris' vertical-market software portfolio to support growth across government, defense, luxury and local government end markets.

Polaris Transportation Group Acquires PRI Logistics

Polaris Transportation Group, a privately held Canadian cross-border LTL carrier, has acquired PRI Logistics, a Vaughan, Ontario-based 3PL brokerage. The acquisition—effective March 2, 2020—will integrate PRI into the Polaris Global Logistics brand to expand Polaris's service offering and cross-border logistics capabilities.

Carrier Global Acquires BrokerBay Inc.

Carrier Global Corporation has agreed to acquire BrokerBay Inc., a Toronto-based developer of a cloud-based real estate showing and scheduling platform. The acquisition (expected to close in October) will integrate BrokerBay's digital showing management capabilities with Carrier Fire & Security's Supra lockbox and mobile credentialing business to strengthen access solutions and drive recurring services revenue; terms were not disclosed.
