Zywave, a PE-backed insurtech platform, has acquired Columbus-based Strategic Insurance Software (SIS), provider of the Partner Platform agency management system for P&C and commercial-lines agencies. The add-on expands Zywave's portfolio of AMS/CRM solutions to cover commercial lines and broadens its end-to-end platform for independent insurance agencies; terms were not disclosed.

Five Points Capital provided unitranche debt financing and an equity co-investment to support the transaction; EIS holds a GSA Schedule and is a federal channel partner for SAS Institute.
