Mondelēz International acquired Hu Master Holdings, the parent of Hu Products (Hu Kitchen), closing the transaction on January 4, 2021. Mondelēz — which had been a minority investor through its SnackFutures unit since 2019 — will operate Hu as a separate business to preserve the brand while providing resources to expand distribution, e-commerce and cross-category growth; financial terms were not disclosed.
