Brynwood Partners' Buitoni Food Company Acquires North American Buitoni Business from Nestlé USA

Brynwood Partners VIII L.P., through its newly formed portfolio company Buitoni Food Company, has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire the North American Buitoni business from Nestlé USA. The deal (terms undisclosed) includes a 240,000 sq. ft. manufacturing facility in Danville, Virginia with approximately 525 full-time employees and rights to the Buitoni brand in the U.S., Canada and the Caribbean; Buitoni Food Company will be headquartered in Stamford, Connecticut.

Brynwood Partners' Great Kitchens Acquires ARYZTA North America's Take-and-Bake Pizza Business

Rich Products Corporation (Rich's) has acquired Great Kitchens Food Company from Brynwood Partners VIII L.P.; the transaction closed in January 2026 for undisclosed terms. Great Kitchens, headquartered in Romeoville, Illinois, is a leading U.S. manufacturer of private-label take-and-bake and topped pizzas (including the Uno Foods/Pizzeria Uno lines) with three production facilities and roughly 1,000 employees; the deal gives Rich's expanded topped-pizza capabilities, greater capacity and a vertically integrated pizza platform.

The acquisition adds the Pizzeria Uno branded frozen and refrigerated product line and the Brockton, Massachusetts manufacturing facility to Great Kitchens' frozen foods platform, expanding Brynwood's manufacturing footprint.

Benford Capital Partners Acquires Legacy Bakehouse

Chicago-based private equity firm Benford Capital Partners has acquired Legacy Bakehouse, a Waukesha, Wisconsin-based developer and manufacturer of baked snack ingredients and the owner of the Pinahs brand. Benford will partner with Legacy President Peter Sardina, invest in operational capacity and sales capabilities, and pursue add-on acquisitions to grow the platform.
