Nautic Partners Acquires Aurora Plastics

Nautic Partners has completed the acquisition of Aurora Plastics, a Streetsboro, Ohio-based producer of PVC and custom polymer compounds, in partnership with Aurora management. The seller parties were Wind Point Partners and Ontario Teachers' Pension Plan Board; financing for the deal was led by Antares Capital and Carlyle Global Credit, and Nautic says it will support Aurora's growth and pursue acquisitions in the fragmented specialty compounds market.

Harrington Industrial Plastics, a portfolio company of Nautic Partners, has acquired Crist Group, a Woodland, California-based specialty fabricator of fluoropolymer fluid process components serving the semiconductor and medical markets. The add-on acquisition will deepen Harrington's fabrication capabilities and broaden its offering to semiconductor customers while Crist's owner, Paul Crist, will join Harrington and continue to run the Crist division.
