A consortium of Australian bus operator Kinetic and Spanish infrastructure group Globalvia has agreed to acquire UK transport operator Go‑Ahead Group for $789 million (£647.7m). Go‑Ahead shareholders will receive 1,500 pence per share (1,450p cash plus a 50p special dividend); the buyers formed a new acquisition vehicle (Bidco) and expect the deal to close in October 2022, committing to invest in decarbonisation and digitalisation of Go‑Ahead's operations.

The deal integrates K12 into Mars Energy's portfolio to expand commercial solar capabilities and nonprofit/school PPA expertise as an add-on to the group's NewGen Energy platform.
