The JF Group has acquired Maverick Petroleum Services, an Arizona-based petroleum service contractor specializing in installation, maintenance and repair of fueling equipment, POS systems, and environmental testing. The deal expands JF's footprint across the Southwest and enables the company to provide statewide 24/7 service coverage in Arizona.

KKR and EIG Acquire Majority Interest in Avantus

KKR-backed funds and accounts managed by KKR have acquired a majority equity interest in Avantus, a U.S. developer of utility-scale solar and solar-plus-storage projects. Coinciding with the close, Avantus secured a $522 million development facility arranged by KKR Capital Markets and SMBC to accelerate deployment of its more than 30 GWdc solar and 94 GWh storage pipeline across the Western United States.

ModuGo (Kinderhook-backed) Acquires Kelcon, LLC

ModuGo, a Kinderhook Industries portfolio company, has acquired West Springfield, Massachusetts-based Kelcon, LLC, a regional provider of portable storage container leasing. The acquisition is ModuGo's second add-on since its February 2023 recapitalization with Kinderhook and establishes ModuGo's first Northeast branch to support regional growth.

RK Logistics Group Acquires Facility and Assets from Southwest Supply Chain Solutions

RK Logistics Group acquired a 79,000 square-foot climate-controlled warehouse and related assets (including freight contracts and a modest fleet) from Tempe-based Southwest Supply Chain Solutions, expanding RK's footprint in the greater Phoenix metro. The move positions RK to support growing semiconductor and EV battery manufacturing in Arizona and brings RK's full suite of warehousing, expedited transportation and technology-enabled logistics services to the Tempe site.

Kinetic–Globalvia Consortium to Acquire Go‑Ahead Group for $789M

A consortium of Australian bus operator Kinetic and Spanish infrastructure group Globalvia has agreed to acquire UK transport operator Go‑Ahead Group for $789 million (£647.7m). Go‑Ahead shareholders will receive 1,500 pence per share (1,450p cash plus a 50p special dividend); the buyers formed a new acquisition vehicle (Bidco) and expect the deal to close in October 2022, committing to invest in decarbonisation and digitalisation of Go‑Ahead's operations.

Mars Energy / Mars Equity Partners Acquires K12 Energy (K12 Solar)

Mars Equity Partners and affiliated Mars Energy Group (via platform NewGen Energy) have acquired K12 Energy (also referred to as K12 Solar), a El Dorado Hills, California provider of commercial solar solutions and Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) financing for nonprofits, schools and small commercial customers. The deal integrates K12 into Mars Energy's portfolio to expand commercial solar capabilities and nonprofit/school PPA expertise as an add-on to the group's NewGen Energy platform.
