OptConnect, a Graham Partners portfolio company, has completed an add-on acquisition of Chile-headquartered M2M DataGlobal. The deal expands OptConnect's managed wireless IoT connectivity platform into Latin America, adding managed connectivity, hardware, and telematics capabilities across multiple countries in the region.

OptConnect Acquires DPL Wireless

OptConnect has acquired Canada-based DPL Wireless to expand engineering capabilities and add AI-based device intelligence to its global managed IoT connectivity platform. DPL will operate as a division of OptConnect with headquarters in Moncton, New Brunswick, and its Hercules AI platform will be integrated with OptConnect's ConnectIQ to improve uptime and analytics for ATMs and other IoT deployments.

Network Wireless Solutions (NWS) Acquires Gap Wireless

Network Wireless Solutions (NWS), a portfolio company backed by Grain Management, acquired Canada-based Gap Wireless to expand NWS's presence in Canada and broaden its North American scale. Gap Wireless, headquartered in Mississauga, Ontario, is a distributor of wireless infrastructure and test & measurement products and will be integrated in partnership with its existing management team.

M/C Partners (via Neutral Connect Networks) Acquires Connectivity Wireless Solutions

Boston-based private equity firm M/C Partners has acquired Connectivity Wireless Solutions and its subsidiaries (including Simplifi DAS Holdings) and will consolidate the business with its portfolio company Neutral Connect Networks. The deal creates a larger neutral-host and in‑building wireless platform to accelerate growth in managed Wi‑Fi, CBRS/private LTE and 5G deployments; Stephen Bye will serve as CEO of the combined business and Connectivity founder Greg Jacobs will join the board.
