Auxo Investment Partners Acquires Ferrovia Services; Graycliff Provides Credit Support

Auxo Investment Partners acquired Ferrovia Services and merged it with its existing platform Genesis Rail Services to form "Auxo Rail." Graycliff Partners provided subordinated debt and a minority equity investment to support the transaction, which aims to integrate vegetation-management and rail maintenance services to enable cross-selling to Class I, Class II and industrial railroad customers as well as state DOTs and utilities.

Auxo Investment Partners has acquired Southeast Vegetation Management (SEVM), a Brierfield, Alabama–based provider of vegetation management services to U.S. railroads, and will add the business to its Genesis Rail Company platform. The deal expands Auxo's railroad infrastructure maintenance platform, broadens geographic reach in the Eastern U.S., and creates the largest pure-play herbicide rail vegetation management platform alongside Ferrovia.

Grand Rapids-based private equity firm Auxo Investment Partners acquired SOS Manufacturing, a Roberts, Wisconsin-based custom wire harness and cable assembly manufacturer. The deal is Auxo's fourth add-on to its growing wire harness and cable manufacturing platform and will expand the platform's capabilities (including work relevant to supercomputing), while SOS's management will remain in place.

Watco Acquires Great Lakes Central Railroad

Watco has received federal approval from the Surface Transportation Board to acquire the 420-mile Great Lakes Central Railroad (GLC). The acquisition, effective September 28, requires Watco to keep currently active GLC gateways open on commercially competitive terms and follows Watco's prior equity investment in GLC since 2013.

Resonetics Acquires Caribou Technologies
