The facility, which serves roughly 100 independent grocery customers and employs 125 associates, will be integrated into SpartanNash's supply chain to expand geographic reach and enhance service offerings.

Watco Logistics Acquires Colossal Transport Solutions

Watco Logistics has acquired Colossal Transport Solutions, a Spring, Texas-based specialist in over-dimensional and heavy-haul project cargo. The acquisition (closed Sept. 2, 2025) expands Watco's multimodal project cargo and heavy-lift capabilities; Colossal has about 24 employees and financial terms were not disclosed.

Miner Ltd. (OnPoint Group) Acquires Great Lakes Dock & Door

Miner Ltd., the docks and doors division of OnPoint Group, has acquired Great Lakes Dock & Door, a full-service provider of overhead doors and loading dock equipment in Michigan and Ohio. The transaction expands Miner’s geographic footprint into the Midwest and strengthens its local service capabilities for automotive manufacturers, tier-one suppliers and general contractors.

Wabtec Corporation Acquires Nordco from Greenbriar Equity Group

Wabtec Corporation has signed a definitive agreement to acquire Nordco, a North American supplier of maintenance-of-way equipment, from Greenbriar Equity Group for $400 million in cash. The acquisition expands Wabtec’s maintenance-of-way and railcar mover offerings, adds Nordco’s aftermarket and inspection technology capabilities, and is expected to be immediately accretive to EBITDA and cash flow while delivering cost synergies.

JW Chicago Acquires Chain O' Lakes Transportation

3i-backed Regional Rail has agreed to acquire the Indiana Eastern Railroad and the Ohio South Central Railroad, adding a combined 107 miles of short-line freight track across Indiana and Ohio. The deal expands Regional Rail’s Midwest footprint and strengthens its ability to serve industrial customers in end markets including food & agriculture and chemicals.
