HTEC, a San Mateo-based digital product development and engineering company, has acquired Munich- and Granada-based eesy-innovation, an end-to-end IoT and embedded hardware/software engineering firm. The deal strengthens HTEC's embedded, IoT and AI capabilities and expands its footprint in the EU, particularly the DACH region.

CoSo Cloud Acquires eSyncTraining

CoSo Cloud has acquired California-based eSyncTraining, a developer of Adobe Connect–focused eLearning applications and integrations. eSync founder Mike Kollen joins CoSo as Chief Architect and his team will be integrated into CoSo’s engineering, sales, customer success and support teams to expand CoSo’s eLearning software subscription offerings and professional services for enterprise and government customers.

KKR and Dragoneer Acquire Instructure for $4.8 Billion

Investment funds managed by KKR, with participation from Dragoneer Investment Group, acquired Instructure Holdings, Inc. in an all-cash transaction at $23.60 per share, valuing the company at approximately $4.8 billion. Instructure will become privately held and remain headquartered in Salt Lake City as KKR supports product innovation, global expansion and continued investment in the Canvas and Parchment products.

Momentive Software Acquires Blue Sky eLearn

The acquisition adds Blue Sky’s Path LMS (used by over three million users across ~400 organizations) to Momentive’s cloud-based portfolio; terms were not disclosed.

insightsoftware Acquires Izenda

The deal expands insightsoftware’s embedded analytics capabilities—coming shortly after its acquisition of Logi Analytics—and aims to deliver richer in-application reporting and visualization to software teams and ISVs.

ProA Capital Acquires 70% Stake in isEazy

Spanish private equity firm ProA Capital has acquired a 70% majority stake in isEazy, a Madrid-based e‑learning and corporate training SaaS provider. The founder José Luis de Federico remains as chairman with a 20% stake and the management team holds about 10%; ProA plans to internationalize isEazy and accelerate growth through acquisitions and partnerships in the Americas and Middle East.
