Athene, Apollo and Motive Partners Acquire Advantage Retirement Solutions (ARS)

Athene, Motive Partners and Apollo have invested in and acquired Advantage Retirement Solutions (ARS) to accelerate availability of in-plan guaranteed-income (annuity) offerings for employer-sponsored defined-contribution plans. The deal will leverage ARS’s Lifetime Income Builder technology to expand buyers’ capability to integrate lifetime income solutions into 401(k) and other DC plans and speed distribution to plan sponsors and participants.
