Mergon Acquires UK Blow-Moulder Weltonhurst from Weltonhurst Limited

Mergon, a plastics manufacturing group backed by Elysian Capital II LP, has acquired Weltonhurst Limited, a UK-based supplier of technical blow‑moulded components. The deal gives Mergon a UK manufacturing base (a 40,000 sqm Lancashire site) to safeguard service for UK customers post‑Brexit and to expand its capabilities across automotive, healthcare and packaging markets.
