Linamar Corporation Acquires Salford Group from GenNx360 Capital Partners

Linamar Corporation has agreed to acquire Salford Group, a manufacturer of tillage and crop-nutrition application equipment, from GenNx360 Capital Partners for CAD 260 million (subject to adjustments). The acquisition expands Linamar’s agricultural equipment product portfolio and manufacturing footprint; the transaction is expected to close after customary conditions.

Berlon Industries Acquires Lowe Manufacturing

Berlon Industries, a Hustisford, Wisconsin manufacturer of buckets and attachments, has agreed to acquire Lowe Manufacturing, a Viola, Wisconsin maker of auger, trenching and grapple attachments. The deal, which preserves the LOWE brand and retains employees and facilities, is expected to close in early January 2022; owner Richard Lowe will retire while Mary Lowe will remain with the business.

Hillenbrand Acquires LINXIS Group

Hillenbrand, Inc. completed the acquisition of LINXIS Group from IBERIS INTERNATIONAL S.À R.L. (an affiliate of IK Partners) and other sellers for aggregate consideration of €596.2 million. LINXIS — a global designer and manufacturer of dosing, mixing, drying and coating equipment with six market-leading brands — will join Hillenbrand’s Advanced Process Solutions segment to expand its food‑processing capabilities and aftermarket services.

The acquisition brings the Tremblant Cannabis and Laurentian craft brands into Organigram’s portfolio, strengthens its presence in Quebec, and expands its premium/hash product offering to accelerate revenue and EBITDA growth.
