An affiliate of Lone Star Funds has completed the $3.0 billion acquisition of Carrier Global Corporation's Commercial and Residential Fire business and established Kidde Global Solutions as a standalone platform. The deal, announced initially in August 2024, closes on December 2, 2024 and will allow the new company to focus on growth across residential, commercial and industrial fire & life safety markets.

Pacific Avenue Acquires Sogefi's Filtration Business (Now Purflux Group)

Pacific Avenue Capital Partners has completed the acquisition of Sogefi Filtration S.A. and Sogefi USA Inc. (the Filtration Business Unit) from Sogefi S.p.A.; the business will operate as Purflux Group. The company is a global manufacturer of vehicle filtration components serving aftermarket distributors and OEMs, generated over $600 million of revenue in 2023, and will be grown as a platform focused on aftermarket initiatives and supporting OEMs through the transition to electric vehicles.

The transaction transfers FireKing's office- and consumer-focused fireproof and secure storage business to Champlain, while FK Safety and Security retains FireKing's Security Products and Services divisions.

Sentinel Capital Partners has acquired the industrial fire business from Carrier Global Corporation for an enterprise value of $1.425 billion and launched Spectrum Safety Solutions as a standalone platform. Spectrum, headquartered in Stamford, Connecticut, comprises the Det-Tronics, Marioff, Autronica and Fireye brands, has ~1,400 employees and manufacturing sites in the United States, Norway and Finland.

Rapid Fire Safety & Security Acquires Pacific Auxiliary Fire Alarm Company

The deal — Rapid Fire's second add-on since launching the platform — expands its presence into Northern California while the seller, third-generation owner Derek Shackley, will remain in a leadership role.
