Sentinel Capital Partners Acquires Carrier's Industrial Fire Business to Create Spectrum Safety Solutions

Sentinel Capital Partners has acquired the industrial fire business from Carrier Global Corporation for an enterprise value of $1.425 billion and launched Spectrum Safety Solutions as a standalone platform. Spectrum, headquartered in Stamford, Connecticut, comprises the Det-Tronics, Marioff, Autronica and Fireye brands, has ~1,400 employees and manufacturing sites in the United States, Norway and Finland.

Spectrum, headquartered in Fairfield, New Jersey, is an agent, marketer and administrator of finance and insurance (F&I) products serving more than 1,400 dealers, OEMs and administrators across the U.S. Southfield Capital had owned Spectrum since 2015 and the management team will remain as significant shareholders alongside Cornell Capital.
