Providence Equity Partners Majority Investment in Tenstreet

Funds advised by Providence Equity Partners completed a majority growth investment in Tenstreet, a Tulsa-based provider of driver recruiting SaaS for the trucking industry. Tenstreet co-founder and CEO Tim Crawford will remain an investor and continue to lead the company while existing investor Spectrum Equity retains a significant minority stake; the capital will be used to accelerate product and team growth and to pursue strategic acquisitions.

Tenstreet has acquired TextLocate, a Chattanooga-based provider of SMS-based driver communications and freight visibility tools, to augment its driver-centric recruiting and logistics software. The deal will integrate TextLocate's chat, image capture and location capabilities with Tenstreet's Driver Pulse, TruckMap and True Load Time products to improve automation, transparency and driver communications across the supply chain.

Tenstreet, the Tulsa-based driver recruitment and retention platform, acquired Vnomics (fuel-optimization software) and True Load Time (load-time/detention management) to integrate fuel-efficiency coaching and real-time load-time insights into its Driver Pulse and Rewards offerings. The acquisitions expand Tenstreet's capabilities to help carriers reduce fuel spend, lower detention delays, and improve driver retention.

Solera Acquires eDriving

Solera Holdings, Inc. acquired eDriving, a provider of smartphone-based driver risk management and telematics solutions, to expand its fleet-focused data and software capabilities into driver behavior and risk analytics. The deal integrates eDriving's Mentor app, FICO Safe Driving Score and Virtual Risk Manager platform with Solera's existing fleet solutions to offer end-to-end vehicle and driver performance services to commercial fleets globally.

Rekor Systems Acquires Southern Traffic Services

(NASDAQ: REKR) has completed the acquisition of Southern Traffic Services (STS), combining STS’s 30+ years of traffic data collection and traffic engineering expertise with Rekor’s AI- and machine learning-driven roadway intelligence. The deal expands Rekor’s capabilities to deliver integrated traffic management, urban mobility, and public safety solutions, and STS co-founder Mark Knowles becomes a company shareholder.

Tenet Acquires Pallet's TMS Business

Tenet has acquired Pallet’s Transportation Management System (TMS) business and used the technology to launch a unified operating system for cartage, courier, and expedited carriers. Pallet shifted its focus to AI agents for logistics and divested the TMS business to Tenet, which will integrate dispatch, warehouse, driver app, invoicing and line-haul capabilities into its platform.
