Simplicity Group Acquires Allegis Advisor Group

Simplicity Group has entered into an agreement to acquire Allegis Advisor Group, a Salt Lake City-based independent marketing organization that supports advisors in annuity, long-term care, disability, and life insurance sales. Allegis will join Simplicity as its 43rd partner, with founder Chris Miller and several leaders joining the Simplicity partnership while Allegis' day-to-day operations remain under its existing management team.

Lee Equity Partners Acquires Majority Stake in Simplicity Group Holdings

Lee Equity Partners has agreed to become the majority owner of Simplicity Group Holdings, a Summit, New Jersey-based financial products distribution business. The transaction transfers majority ownership from Aquiline Capital Partners to Lee Equity and is expected to close by the end of 2020 subject to regulatory approvals; financial terms were not disclosed.
