Novvia Group Acquires Rhino Container

Novvia Group, a national rigid-container and life sciences packaging platform backed by Kelso & Company, has acquired Rhino Container Inc., a Chino, California-based distributor of plastic, metal, corrugated, and glass packaging products. Rhino, which operates approximately 280,000 square feet of warehouse space across California and has 30 years of industry experience, will continue to be led by its existing management team; financial terms were not disclosed.

Novvia Group Acquires Rios Containers

Novvia Group, a Kelso & Company–backed rigid packaging platform, has acquired Rios Containers, a family-run distributor of plastic and metal bottles, cans, drums, lids and other rigid packaging headquartered in Santa Fe Springs, California. Rios will be combined with Novvia's West Coast operations (including Rhino Container) to expand Novvia's presence in the region; financial terms were not disclosed.

Novvia Group (Kelso-backed) Acquires Northern Container

Novvia Group, a Kelso & Company-backed national rigid container and life sciences packaging distributor based in St. Louis, acquired Northern Container, a rigid packaging distributor operating a 35,000 sq. ft. facility in Alsip, Illinois. Financial terms were not disclosed; the deal expands Novvia's Midwest footprint and augments its product and service capabilities (next-day delivery, steel/plastic pails, paint cans, bottles and jars).

Southern Container's existing management will remain in place as the company becomes part of Novvia's national distribution platform to strengthen its Southeast presence and service capabilities.

The acquisition (terms undisclosed) expands Novvia's presence in the U.S. Southeast and adds Duval's two warehouses, walk-up counter sales capability and customer base across chemical, agriculture and food & beverage markets.
