OMERS Private Equity Acquires Community Veterinary Partners from Cortec Group

Affiliates of OMERS Private Equity have acquired CVP Holdco, Inc., d/b/a Community Veterinary Partners, from Cortec Group Fund V. Terms were not disclosed. CVP, headquartered in Philadelphia, operates a network of 64 veterinary hospitals across multiple U.S. states and will continue growth under OMERS ownership.

AmeriVet Veterinary Partners Acquires Northeast Veterinary Partners

AmeriVet Veterinary Partners (San Antonio, TX) acquired 14 veterinary practices from Northeast Veterinary Partners in a buyout announced October 11, 2022, marking the first time AmeriVet has purchased another veterinary consolidator. The deal expands AmeriVet’s clinic network (bringing it to about 186 clinics at the time) and adds locations across New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Vermont, California and Maine as part of its ongoing consolidation and network expansion strategy.

Destination Pet Acquires VitalPet

Destination Pet, a pet health and services platform backed by LetterOne (L1 Health), has completed the acquisition of VitalPet. The deal adds 24 veterinary hospitals and approximately 420 employees across seven states to Destination Pet's network, expanding its veterinary, boarding, grooming and training services footprint.

Veritas Veterinary Partners Acquires Veterinary Surgical Specialists
