SaverLife, a San Francisco-based nonprofit fintech, has signed a definitive agreement to acquire Onward Financial, a Washington D.C.-based nonprofit that provides an employer-sponsored mobile savings app. The deal expands SaverLife’s employer-facing emergency savings and payroll-integrated offerings and will combine Onward’s product experience with SaverLife’s rewards, incentives, and operations to scale impact with employers.
