Dallas-based Trive Capital and New York-based Epic Partners have invested in Pryor Learning, a corporate training, credentialing and educational content provider headquartered in Mission, Kansas. The investment will support Pryor's digital offering and buy-and-build growth strategy; Steven Riehs has been named CEO. Trive and Epic plan organic investments to enhance the customer experience and pursue acquisitions to expand Pryor's content and platform capabilities.

Trive Capital Acquires Cadient Talent Carve-Out from Kronos

Trive Capital, alongside co-investors Six Pillars Partners and Swordstone Partners, has acquired the hiring solutions business of Kronos Incorporated and rebranded the business as Cadient Talent. Cadient is a SaaS applicant-tracking and assessment platform focused on high-volume, hourly hiring in the United States and Canada; Trive says it will invest in product development and support growth.

J.D. Power Acquires Trilogy Automotive

Power has acquired Trilogy Automotive, the automotive software division of Trilogy Enterprises, and will integrate Trilogy's SaaS-based lead management platform into its Autodata Solutions division to expand OEM digital dealer capabilities. Trilogy Automotive's leadership and employees will join J.D. Power to scale the combined offering for OEMs and dealers.

Trive Capital Acquires Hypergiant Industries

Dallas-based private equity firm Trive Capital has acquired AI defense platform company Hypergiant Industries to complement its portfolio company Forward Slope. Hypergiant CEO Mike Betzer will remain in place as the company scales its cloud-based CommandCenter geospatial data visualization and AI-enabled C5ISR offerings; terms were not disclosed.

Tray.ai Acquires Vanti to Advance AI Agent Knowledge Modeling
