An investment syndicate led by New Enterprise Associates, Inc. completed a significant recapitalization of AllyAlign Health, a Medicare Advantage insurer focused on residents of senior housing communities. Health Enterprise Partners, an existing investor and founder backer, partnered with AllyAlign since inception; terms of the recapitalization were not disclosed and the capital is intended to support scaling the company's model across skilled nursing and senior housing.

Zing Health to Acquire Lasso Healthcare

Zing Health Enterprises has signed definitive documents to acquire Lasso Healthcare Insurance Co., a Harrisburg-based provider of Medicare Advantage plans. The acquisition gives Chicago-based Zing Health a national footprint—adding access across Lasso’s 34-state + DC footprint and over 6,000 members—and is expected to close pending regulatory approval in Q3 2021 with nearly all Lasso employees joining Zing Health.
