Foundation Automotive Corp. has acquired Mercedes‑Benz of Wichita Falls, adding the Mercedes franchise as the ninth store in its Wichita Falls platform and the 36th dealership overall for Foundation Automotive. The dealers were sold by owners Bruce Glascock, Alfred Flores, Chris Godwin and Marc Wagoner as Foundation expands its Texas footprint and Stellantis brand presence.

The deal expands Foundation's Central Texas footprint along the I-45 corridor and retains Stacy Dodd in a leadership role; Freestone's operations include franchised Ford, Chevrolet and Chrysler/Dodge/Jeep/RAM dealerships and The Service Truck Depot.

AutoNation has acquired Groove Ford and Groove Mazda in Englewood (Denver metro), Colorado, rebranding them as AutoNation Ford Arapahoe and AutoNation Mazda Arapahoe. The two stores sold nearly 5,000 vehicles in 2024 with approximately $219 million in annual revenue and bring nearly 200 associates to AutoNation as part of a strategy to add density and scale in the greater Denver market.

Foundation Automotive Acquires Patterson Auto Group's Eight Rooftops in Wichita Falls, TX

Foundation Automotive Corp. acquired eight dealership rooftops from the Patterson Family of Dealerships in Wichita Falls, Texas, adding the stores (including the group’s first BMW and RV franchises) to its network and bringing Foundation to 29 rooftops in North America. The transaction transfers ownership from the Patterson family (including prior owner Paul Tigrett) to Foundation, which named Jon Oeltjen and Brad Rodgers as managing partners of the new Foundation of Wichita Falls operation.

AutoNation, Inc. acquired Mercedes-Benz of Chicago and Fletcher Jones Audi (including related real estate) from Fletcher Jones Automotive Group, closing on Sept. 15. The purchase expands AutoNation's metro Chicago footprint to nine dealerships (including three Mercedes-Benz and two Audi locations); The Presidio Group served as exclusive advisor to AutoNation.
