Wenger Corporation Acquires Creative Conners

Wenger Corporation has acquired Creative Conners, Inc., a Cranston, Rhode Island-based maker of advanced stage automation systems. The deal expands Wenger's performing-arts product portfolio and technical capabilities in motion-control and theatrical automation; Creative Conners will continue operations in Rhode Island and integrate with Wenger's existing staging and rigging brands.

Marel Acquires Wenger Manufacturing

Marel has acquired Wenger Manufacturing LLC for USD 540 million, creating a new business segment focused on pet food, plant-based proteins, and aqua feed. The acquisition (closed June 9, 2022) adds Wenger's extrusion and dryer technology, ~500+ employees and expected 2022 revenues of about USD 190 million to Marel's portfolio, and is expected to be margin- and earnings-enhancing on a pro-forma basis.

Sweeping Corporation of America (SCA) has acquired Waste Partners Environmental, Inc. from Tejas Investment Partners. The deal expands SCA's Texas presence by adding more than 175 employees and 125 trucks across seven Texas facilities, making SCA the largest sweeping services provider in Texas.

TSG Group Acquires Kälte-, Klimatechnik Manfred Wegner GmbH

TSG Group has acquired Kälte-, Klimatechnik Manfred Wegner GmbH (Wegner), a Wismar-based refrigeration and air conditioning maintenance and installation services company. The acquisition expands TSG's HVAC capabilities and geographic footprint in Northern and Eastern Germany and brings Wegner's ~98 employees and strong supermarket/food-retail customer relationships into the TSG platform.

Foresight Group and Williams Advanced Engineering invest £1.05m in AudioScenic

Foresight Group (via its Foresight Williams Technology EIS and VCT share class) together with Williams Advanced Engineering have invested £1.05m into AudioScenic, a University of Southampton spin-out developing immersive 3D audio technology. The funding is part of a £1.58m round (including existing investor IP Group) to help AudioScenic commercialise its products and expand its team.

(TAC) and its affiliated brands Ironcat, LLC and Wheelcat Logistics, LLC, expanding Guardian's towing, recovery, and specialized transportation capabilities in Southern Texas and adding a San Antonio hub. Founders Ford and LouAnn Wagner will remain through a transition and then move into advisory roles.
