Billionaire investor Mark Walter has completed the acquisition of a majority stake in the Los Angeles Lakers, following unanimous approval from the NBA Board of Governors. Jeanie Buss will remain Governor and oversee day-to-day operations as Walter integrates the franchise into his TWG Global sports portfolio to expand its sports and entertainment platform.
