A&M Capital Partners Acquires Majority Interest in The Arcticom Group

A&M Capital Partners (AMCP), an Alvarez & Marsal Capital-affiliated private equity firm, has acquired a majority interest in The Arcticom Group, a Walnut Creek, California-based provider of mission-critical commercial refrigeration and HVAC services. Arcticom's senior management will remain in place, and AMCP plans to use Arcticom as a platform to pursue add-on acquisitions and expand geographic and end-market presence across North America.

PMC Energy Limited has acquired Halifax-based Metro Commercial Heating & Cooling Limited and Active Heating & Air Conditioning Ltd., expanding its commercial HVAC and Building Automation Systems (BAS) service footprint in the Halifax Regional Municipality. The transactions — completed following BDC Capital’s Growth Equity Partners investment in PMC in September 2025 — increase PMC's service density, recurring maintenance capability, and preserve continuity by retaining founders and management teams.

(CHS), a regional commercial HVAC services provider headquartered in Newton, Massachusetts. CHS will be integrated into Kelvin's ARC Mechanical platform to expand commercial and industrial HVAC installation and service capabilities across New England; Deerpath Capital Management provided debt financing.

The acquisition expands Arcticom's footprint to the East Coast and strengthens its service offering to national and regional grocery and commercial customers, with Tomco's management (led by John Martinelli) remaining in leadership and retaining a meaningful ownership stake.

Colorado Mechanical Systems (CMS), a Centennial, Colorado-based commercial and industrial HVAC, plumbing and building controls provider, has acquired AMI Mechanical Systems of Thornton, Colorado. The acquisition expands CMS's service footprint in the Mountain West and strengthens its position in core end markets including healthcare, education, municipal, senior living and industrial customers; AMI founders Manuel Gonzales and Paula Wiley will transition out and AMI's construction arm will continue operations post-close.
