Pacific Defense, a defense electronics platform backed by HCI Equity Partners and Emerald Lake Capital Management, has acquired Nashua, New Hampshire–based Spear Research. The acquisition adds electronic warfare, signals intelligence (SIGINT/ELINT), RF engineering, advanced signal processing and autonomous networked sensor capabilities to Pacific Defense's portfolio to better serve DoD and select international customers.

The partnership will support Concisys' organic and inorganic growth and help expand its prototyping, quick-turn, and medium-volume production capabilities for customers across semiconductor, medical, aerospace & defense, and telecom markets.
