Synopsys Acquires Moortec Semiconductor

Synopsys announced on November 11, 2020 that it has acquired Moortec, a UK-based provider of in‑chip process, voltage and temperature (PVT) sensors and monitoring IP. The acquisition integrates Moortec's on‑chip sensing technology into Synopsys' Silicon Lifecycle Management (SLM) platform to improve chip performance analytics and lifecycle optimizations.

Luminar Technologies Acquires OptoGration Inc.

Luminar Technologies has acquired its exclusive InGaAs photodetector design partner and specialized fabrication partner, OptoGration Inc., securing chip IP and production capacity to support series production of its Iris lidar sensor. The deal brings OptoGration’s founders into Luminar, secures roughly one million InGaAs chips per year capacity (expandable), and deepens integration with Luminar’s Black Forest Engineering assets to accelerate production and reduce costs.

Infleqtion Completes Business Combination with Churchill Capital Corp X

Infleqtion completed its previously announced business combination with Churchill Capital Corp X, becoming the first publicly listed neutral-atom quantum technology company and beginning trading on the New York Stock Exchange under the ticker INFQ. The transaction provided Infleqtion with over $550 million of gross proceeds (including nearly all of Churchill X's trust account and a >$125 million PIPE) to accelerate commercialization of its quantum computing and sensing products for government and commercial customers.

IonQ Acquires Lightsynq
