Francisco Partners, with co-investor IGP Capital, has acquired a majority stake in LiveU from its existing shareholders to accelerate the company's global expansion. LiveU, headquartered in Hackensack, New Jersey, provides live IP video devices and cloud services to broadcasters, sports organizations and digital media platforms; previous investors named include Canaan Partners, Viola Ventures, Pitango and Lightspeed.
