IMG Companies Acquires Altair Technologies

IMG Companies, LLC acquired Altair Technologies, Inc. and concurrently recapitalized the company with management and private equity firm Addison Capital Partners. The acquisition brings Altair's furnace brazing, high-vacuum component manufacturing and metallurgical engineering capabilities into the IMG platform to expand capabilities across aerospace, defense, semiconductor and medical device end markets.

Ichor Holdings, Ltd. (NASDAQ: ICHR) has entered into a merger agreement to acquire IMG Companies, LLC, a Livermore, California precision machining and surface-treatment business, for $270 million. The acquisition, financed with cash and incremental borrowing, expands Ichor's precision manufacturing capabilities and customer exposure into medical and aerospace markets and is expected to be accretive to earnings.

The add-on expands MiQ's California capacity (bringing total footprint to 155,000 sf), strengthens life sciences manufacturing capabilities (aseptic syringe filling, vertical farming solutions, medicinal product packaging) and adds roughly 13 engineers to the platform.
