An EQT-led consortium including Neuberger Berman Private Markets, CPP Investments, Corporación Financiera Alba and Dubai Holding has completed the acquisition of Nord Anglia Education for USD 14.5 billion. The transaction broadens Nord Anglia's shareholder base, provides long-term capital to support continued organic and inorganic expansion of its premium international schools network, and delivers an exit for an existing investor.

EQT Acquires Baring Private Equity Asia

EQT AB has agreed to acquire Baring Private Equity Asia (BPEA) in a €6.8bn transaction comprising 191.2m new EQT shares and ~€1.5bn–€1.6bn in cash, creating a scaled Pan-Asian active ownership platform rebranded as BPEA EQT Asia. The combination brings BPEA's private equity and real estate capabilities into EQT's global platform, with BPEA CEO Jean Eric Salata to lead the combined Asian business.

BPEA EQT Acquires Majority Stake in Indira IVF

EQT Invests in Compass Education to Accelerate Product and International Growth

THI Investments Acquires Oxford International Education Group; Nord Anglia Buys Schools Division

A BPEA EQT-led consortium (BPEA Private Equity Fund VIII), alongside co-investor ChrysCapital, agreed to acquire a 90% stake in HDFC Credila from Housing Development Finance Corporation Ltd. The consortium will infuse INR 20 billion of primary capital to support HDFC Credila’s growth, accelerate its digital transformation, and expand its footprint while HDFC will retain a 9.99% minority stake.
