An affiliate of Balmoral Funds partnered with an all-new senior management team to acquire Aero Interiors Company (AIC) from a Fortune 500 aerospace and defense company in March 2019. AIC is a custom aircraft-interiors manufacturer (also designing specialized aircraft armor systems) serving military and commercial markets worldwide; the deal returns the business to a founder/management-led ownership and positions it for a new growth phase.

Aero Interiors Company (Balmoral affiliate) Acquires AeroVentions, LLC

Aero Interiors Company (an affiliate of Balmoral Funds) completed a bolt‑on acquisition of AeroVentions, LLC, a designer, manufacturer and assembler of aircraft interior products based in Austin, Texas. The deal expands AIC’s product breadth, customer relationships and management talent as several senior managers from AeroVentions rejoin the platform to support growth and service quality.

Aero Accessories Acquires Aero Instruments & Avionics

Aero Accessories & Repair, LLC, a portfolio company of ATL Partners, has acquired Buffalo, New York-based Aero Instruments & Avionics. The add-on strengthens Aero Accessories' MRO capabilities across avionics, electro-mechanical and other complex aircraft components and expands its presence in the commercial, cargo and defense aftermarket; terms were not disclosed.

Tiger Infrastructure Partners Acquires International Aerospace Coatings and Eirtech Aviation Services from Vance Street Capital

Tiger Infrastructure Partners has acquired International Aerospace Coatings (IAC) and Eirtech Aviation Services (EAS) from Vance Street Capital. The transaction combines IAC's global aircraft coatings capability (headquartered in Shannon, Ireland) with EAS's engineering and asset management services (headquartered in Irvine, California) to create a leading aviation aftermarket platform; terms were not disclosed.

Enjet Aero Acquires Integral Industries, Inc.

Enjet Aero has acquired Integral Industries, Inc., a Newington, Connecticut-based manufacturer of components and assemblies for commercial and military aircraft engines. The deal expands Enjet Aero’s North American manufacturing footprint to nine locations and increases its capacity and presence on premier engine platforms; Integral’s owner Ed Mascolo will continue as president of the Newington operation.

Electrical Components International Acquires Aerosystems International, Inc.

Electrical Components International (ECI), a Cerberus-backed global supplier of electrical distribution systems, has acquired Aerosystems International (ASI), a Montreal-based manufacturer of electrical distribution and control systems serving the aerospace market. The acquisition expands ECI's aerospace capabilities and global reach, leveraging ASI's engineering, design and manufacturing expertise to deepen partnerships with OEMs and support growth in high-value aerospace segments.
