ATL Partners Makes Majority Investment in Aero Accessories

ATL Partners has made a majority investment in Aero Accessories & Repair, LLC, a Miramar, Florida-based provider of aerospace component maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) services. The founders, David and Kevin Vail, will remain significant equity holders and management will continue to run the business as ATL looks to support organic growth, geographic expansion and pursue add-on opportunities.

Aero Accessories & Repair, a portfolio company of ATL Partners, has acquired AOG Accessories. Terms were not disclosed; the deal adds AOG's MRO capabilities (pneumatic, fuel, power generation, electromechanical, hydraulic, oxygen and galley components) to Aero Accessories' platform to accelerate capability and product offering expansion and strengthen customer relationships in the U.S. and internationally.

The add-on expands Aero Accessories' engineered solutions footprint in FAA-approved PMA parts and DER repairs, broadening its aftermarket distribution and repair capabilities; terms were not disclosed.

Aero 3, Inc. (AeroRepair) Acquires Aircrafters, Inc.

Aero 3, Inc., the parent of AeroRepair and a portfolio company of GenNx360 Capital Partners, has acquired Aircrafters, Inc., a New Castle, Delaware–based distributor of aircraft wheel and brake parts and provider of exchange asset pools. The acquisition expands Aero 3's parts distribution capabilities and North American logistics footprint while keeping Aircrafters' management in place.

AxioAero Group Acquires Airway Aerospace LLC

AxioAero Group, a portfolio company of CORE Industrial Partners, has acquired Airway Aerospace LLC, an FAA-, EASA- and CAA UK-certified aircraft component repair station based in Doral, Florida. The add-on strengthens AxioAero's aerospace MRO platform by adding Airway's component repair capabilities and certifications, expanding service coverage across commercial, cargo, and defense aviation markets.

Precision Aviation Group Acquires ICON Aerospace and TAG Aero

Precision Aviation Group (PAG), a GenNx360 portfolio company, has acquired ICON Aerospace and TAG Aero, expanding PAG's avionics and engine (APU) repair-and-overhaul capabilities. The add-on deals bring ICON's avionics expertise (approx. 150 employees) and TAG's APU services (approx. 60 employees and four in-house test cells) into PAG's global MRO network.
