Esco Lifesciences Group announced the full acquisition of Evidence Solution, a Denmark-based software company that provides IVF witnessing, labelling, workflow scheduling and traceability systems. Esco said it will integrate Evidence's witnessing technology into its IVF device portfolio to improve workflow productivity and compliance in fertility clinics.

EQT to Acquire VetPartners from National Veterinary Associates

EQT has agreed to acquire VetPartners, the largest provider of veterinary and animal health services in Australia and New Zealand, from National Veterinary Associates. VetPartners operates a network of 267 clinics and specialty hospitals with over 4,300 clinical and support staff; EQT says it will invest in diagnostic equipment, technology, recruitment and training to support continued growth and improved clinical outcomes. The transaction is subject to customary approvals and is expected to close around the end of the calendar year.

Silver Economy Fund (Quadrivio Group) Acquires Majority Stake in SIARE International Engineering

Silver Economy Fund, a private equity fund managed by Quadrivio Group, has signed an agreement to acquire a majority stake in SIARE International Engineering S.r.l., an Italian manufacturer of electromedical devices for anaesthesia, resuscitation and pulmonary ventilation. Founder Giuseppe Preziosa will remain as President and will reinvest in the company while the fund will pursue growth and consolidation via management strengthening, international expansion and distribution-channel enhancements.

EQT Life Sciences and Gimv Co-Lead €51M Series B in Exciva

EQT Life Sciences (via its LSP Dementia Fund) and Gimv co-led a €51 million Series B in German clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company Exciva to fund a Phase 2 trial of its lead candidate, Deraphan, for agitation associated with Alzheimer's disease. Additional participants included Fountain Healthcare Partners, LifeArc, Carma Fund, Modi Ventures, Andera Partners, LBBW and returning investors; proceeds will support multinational Phase 2 studies across the EU, United States and Canada.
