Buchanan Technologies, a Lightview Capital-backed IT and application managed services provider, has acquired Dallas-based Heartland IT Consulting to strengthen its Oracle solutions and applications services practice. The acquisition expands Buchanan's delivery expertise in Oracle technologies (OFA, OCI, EBS, JD Edwards, PeopleSoft) and is the latest add-on to deepen the firm's Oracle competencies for mid-market and enterprise customers.

The deal (announced at an implied value of about $2.0 billion and using a 0.55 share exchange ratio) increases UMB's private wealth AUM by roughly 31–32%, adds more than 100 branches and ATMs, and brings HTLF operations onto UMB platforms before full brand conversion.
