FSN Acquires Majority Stake in OptiGroup from Triton and Altor

FSN (via a holdco controlled by FSN Capital VI) has agreed to acquire the majority of OptiGroup AB from Triton, Altor and RoosGruppen, who will retain minority stakes. Headquartered in Mölndal, Sweden, OptiGroup is a leading European B2B distributor of facility, safety, foodservice, packaging, paper and business supplies serving more than 90,000 customers; FSN plans to accelerate pan‑European expansion supported by an add‑on acquisition agenda.

SC Pack Group Acquires Frapak Packaging

The SC Pack Group, backed by private equity investor MML Capital, has acquired Frapak Packaging — a longstanding partner and European supplier of glass and sustainable plastic packaging. The deal expands SC Pack’s European footprint and product portfolio, creating a combined group with ~€350m revenue and roughly 500 packaging professionals across more than 15 countries.

OptiGroup Acquires Technotape B.V.

OptiGroup, a European distribution group based in Gothenburg, Sweden, has acquired Technotape B.V., a Dutch distributor of self-adhesive tapes and stretch films. Technotape will join OptiGroup's packaging business in the Netherlands and continue to operate under its current brand; the purchase price was not disclosed.

OptiGroup Acquires Key Parts of Paardekooper's FRIS Division

OptiGroup has taken over key parts of the FRIS (Food, Retail, Industry and Services) division of Koninklijke Paardekooper Group following the parent company's bankruptcy, acquiring operations in the Netherlands, China and Ireland plus the LCA Centre. The assets will operate under the new trading name Paardekooper Packaging and report to Alex de Graaf, SVP OptiGroup Western Europe; the deal preserves jobs and expands OptiGroup's packaging capabilities across European markets.

Envases Universales (via Glud & Marstrand AS) Acquires Pack2Pack International B.V.

Envases Universales de Mexico, through its European subsidiary Glud & Marstrand AS, has acquired 100% of Pack2Pack International B.V. from Coöperative GEM Benelux B.A. and minority shareholders. The acquisition expands Envases’ Food & Industrial Packaging footprint in Europe, strengthening its service offering to food and industrial customers.

Greif, Inc. Agrees to Acquire IPACKCHEM Group SAS from SK Capital Partners

Greif, Inc. has entered into exclusive negotiations to acquire IPACKCHEM Group SAS from an affiliate of SK Capital Partners in a cash transaction valued at $538 million. IPACKCHEM, headquartered in Paris with ~1,400 employees and LTM sales of ~$235 million (adjusted EBITDA ~$57 million), will expand Greif's capabilities in premium barrier and small plastic containers and support growth in EMEA and APAC.
