SNF Acquires Obsidian Chemical Solutions LLC

SNF, the global specialty chemical group, has acquired Obsidian Chemical Solutions LLC, a Midland, Texas-based provider of specialty chemical solutions and bulk storage for completion operations in the Permian Basin. The acquisition gives SNF an expanded manufacturing footprint and storage capacity in the Permian to accelerate service delivery and broaden its portfolio of customized formulations for stimulation, acidizing, cementing, drill-out and produced water treatment.

SCF Partners Acquires Newpark Fluids Systems from Newpark Resources

Hydrite Acquires Fife Water Services and Precision Polymer Corporation

Hydrite, a family-owned manufacturer and supplier of chemicals, has acquired Fife Water Services Inc., a water treatment products and automation supplier based in O'Fallon, Missouri, and Precision Polymer Corporation, a custom blend/formulation manufacturer with locations in Dumas, Texas and Greeley, Colorado. The acquisitions (effective April 26, 2024) expand Hydrite's capabilities and market reach in water and wastewater treatment—particularly in food processing—by adding automation, water-care chemistry, and polymer blending expertise.

FCH Acquires Axiflow Technologies

NFI Corp. Acquires PPS Inc.

NFI will relocate PPS's manufacturing to its New Bedford facility while maintaining a sales and administrative office in Kansas; the acquisition is intended to expand NFI's capabilities and customer base in the U.S.
