VVDN Technologies has acquired GGS Engineering Services to broaden its ER&D and mechanical/electrical engineering capabilities for Automotive, MedTech and Aerospace customers. The move integrates GGS's mechanical design, analysis and CAD/CAM expertise into VVDN's end-to-end product engineering and manufacturing services to accelerate time-to-market and expand VVDN's addressable ER&D market.

The deal strengthens Dussmann Technical Solutions' mechanical engineering and maintenance capabilities in Ireland and complements its existing electrical services portfolio; Lynskey employs around 120 people and generates roughly €60m in annual revenue, and the purchase price was not disclosed.
