Novanta Inc. has agreed to acquire Motion Solutions for $189 million in cash, a provider of high-precision, customized motion subsystems and components for medical, life sciences, and advanced industrial OEMs. The acquisition (completed) expands Novanta's capabilities and presence in precision medicine, lab automation, medical robotics and related end markets; Motion Solutions is headquartered in Irvine, California and has over 110 employees and expected 2023 revenue of ~$85 million.
