LafargeHolcim in the United States, through its Aggregate Industries operations, has acquired Marshall Concrete Products, a longtime Minneapolis/St. Paul concrete producer. Marshall Concrete, founded in 1936 and employing more than 60 people, will join LafargeHolcim’s US portfolio to strengthen its residential and light commercial concrete offerings in the Twin Cities market.

Aggregate Industries (LafargeHolcim) Acquires Cowden Inc.

Aggregate Industries, a wholly-owned subsidiary of LafargeHolcim in the United States, has acquired the ready-mix concrete and aggregate assets of Cowden Inc., a long-standing supplier in the Bellingham, Washington area. The business will operate as Cowden, a division of Aggregate Industries Pacific Northwest, and more than 100 Cowden employees will join AI as part of the transaction.

Holcim Acquires Langley Concrete Group Inc.

Holcim has acquired the operations of Langley Concrete Group Inc., a family-owned precast concrete manufacturer based in British Columbia, including two production facilities in Chilliwack and Duncan. The acquisition brings approximately 180 employees into Holcim and expands the company's precast footprint and capabilities in the province to better serve municipal, commercial and industrial infrastructure projects.

Oldcastle Infrastructure Acquires Cook Concrete Products

SRM Concrete Acquires Conroe Concrete (Yancey Ready-Mix)

SRM Concrete has acquired Conroe Concrete (doing business as Yancey Ready-Mix), a family-owned ready-mix concrete manufacturer based in Conroe (north Houston), Texas. The acquisition expands SRM's footprint in the Houston/North Texas market; terms were not disclosed and ClearRidge advised the sellers (Bobby and Jo Ann Yancey).

Holcim Acquires SES Foam

Holcim has agreed to acquire SES Foam (SES Foam LLC), the largest independent spray-foam insulation company in the United States, expanding Holcim’s Solutions & Products roofing and insulation business. The deal, which closed July 29, 2022, was a sale by Tenex Capital Management and brings SES’s sustainable, bio-based spray-foam capabilities and ~USD 200m 2022 net sales into Holcim’s portfolio to support its Strategy 2025 growth objectives.
