EdgeCo Holdings LP has completed the acquisition of Axios Advisory Group, Ltd., integrating Axios's American Pension Benefit retirement plan administration and Axios Wealth Management advisory services into its AmericanTCS business unit. The deal expands AmericanTCS's administration, recordkeeping and wealth capabilities as part of EdgeCo's ongoing roll-up strategy in the small- and mid-sized retirement plan market.

First Mercantile Trust (EdgeCo) Acquires American Trust Retirement

First Mercantile Trust Company, a subsidiary of EdgeCo Holdings, has completed the acquisition of American Trust Retirement from American Trust & Savings Bank. The deal brings ATR's recordkeeping, collective investment trust, and discretionary trustee capabilities into EdgeCo's retirement platform to expand national coverage, capabilities, and service offerings for financial intermediaries and small- to mid-market plan sponsors.

American Trust Company Acquires LT Trust Company

American Trust Company, a subsidiary of EdgeCo Holdings, has signed a definitive agreement to acquire Denver-based LT Trust Company, a national retirement plan provider and recordkeeper. The deal (subject to regulatory approvals) will add talent and technology to American Trust, expand its institutional outsourcing capabilities, and increase its presence in the Midwest and Western U.S.; LT Trust’s ~100 employees will join American Trust upon closing.

Gemspring Capital Acquires TRG

An affiliate of Gemspring Capital Management has acquired TRG, a Cleveland-area provider of enterprise mobility lifecycle management and integrated cybersecurity solutions. TRG founder and CEO Sean Kennedy, the Kennedy family, and the existing management team retain a significant ownership stake; Gemspring said it will provide capital and operational resources to support continued growth and strategic acquisitions.

Cetera Holdings Acquires The Retirement Planning Group, LLC

Cetera Holdings, the holding company of Cetera Financial Group, has acquired The Retirement Planning Group, LLC (TRPG), an independent RIA headquartered in Leawood, Kansas. TRPG manages approximately $1.4 billion in AUM across about 1,825 client accounts, has ~40 employees (including 14 advisors), and will join Cetera’s advisor network to expand its wealth-management capabilities and advisor affiliations.

U.S. Retirement & Benefits Partners Adds TSA Consulting Group

TSACG, which serves more than 3,000 employer groups and administers over $45 billion in assets, will integrate with USRBP to strengthen the firm's capabilities and position in the K-12 marketplace; Raymond James served as TSACG's exclusive financial advisor.
