Easy Ice Acquires Icesurance, Arctic Glacier's Leasing Division

Easy Ice, a national provider of full-service ice machine subscription solutions, acquired Icesurance, the leasing division of Arctic Glacier, strengthening Easy Ice's presence in New York City and Los Angeles. The deal is the sixth strategic acquisition since Freeman Spogli recapitalized Easy Ice in late 2019 and increases Easy Ice's scale in the commercial ice machine leasing market.

Kinzie Capital Partners Acquires Arctic Industries

Kinzie Capital Partners, a Chicago-based private equity firm, has acquired Arctic Industries, a national manufacturer and distributor of walk-in coolers, freezers and the CoolBot refrigeration controller. The transaction (completed in partnership with Arctic management) will support Arctic's nationwide expansion by leveraging its bi-coastal manufacturing footprint and product portfolio across foodservice, healthcare and industrial end markets. Brown Gibbons Lang served as financial advisor to selling owner Stoic Holdings; terms were not disclosed.
