American Industrial Partners Acquires Aluminium Duffel (Aluminium Belgium BV)

American Industrial Partners (AIP) acquired 100% of the shares of Aluminium Belgium BV, the parent of Aluminium Duffel (ALVANCE Aluminium Duffel BV), from Ecnavla 8 UK Ltd. AIP purchased the business following borrower defaults and administration proceedings and intends to continue operations with the existing local leadership while providing additional capital to support the business and investments in the plant.

American Industrial Partners (AIP) has become the majority and controlling shareholder of Norway-based AquaShip AS and Intership AS and will merge the two companies into a single global aquaculture service vessel operator. Talweg Capital co-invested in the combined company; Alchemy sold its stake in Intership. The combined business will operate a fleet of 39 vessels with nearly 700 employees and serve salmon farmers across Norway, Scotland, Ireland, Chile, Canada, and the United Kingdom.
