Battery Ventures has acquired Plixer, a provider of network traffic analytics and security incident response software, in a transaction that will provide growth capital and operational support to scale the business. Jeff Lindholm has joined Plixer as CEO, Russell Fleischer of Battery will join the board, and founders Mike Patterson and Marc Bilodeau will remain involved in the leadership team.

(EV Battery Tech) entered into a share exchange agreement to acquire CryptoPlug Technologies Inc., a developer of a blockchain-based, crypto-compatible smartphone application for EV charging payments. As consideration, EV Battery Tech will issue 24 million common shares (at $0.25 per share) to CryptoPlug shareholders for a deemed transaction valuation of $6.0 million; the acquisition is intended to accelerate integration of CryptoPlug features into EV Battery Tech's Smart Command application.
