The deal brings organic infill manufacturing capabilities and distribution into Sprinturf’s vertically integrated product offering while GreenPlay will continue to operate and supply the wider industry.

Co-presidents Kevin and Karl Swinski will remain with the business; the deal adds density to LawnPRO's Pennsylvania footprint as an add-on to its platform.

LawnPRO Partners, a lawn-care platform majority-owned by HCI Equity Partners, has acquired Sea of Green Lawn Care, LLC, a family-owned lawn care and pest control provider serving the North Shore of Massachusetts and New Hampshire. Owner Chris Mierswa sold the business to LawnPRO, which will integrate Sea of Green into its platform while preserving the brand and continuing service offerings such as fertilization, aeration, seeding, and pest control.

The Recreational Group Acquires Turf Factory Direct, EasyGrass and Synthetic Grass Pros

The Recreational Group (RG), a Dalton, Georgia-based recreational surfacing products provider, has acquired three turf distribution and installation companies—Turf Factory Direct, EasyGrass, LLC and Synthetic Grass Pros—to expand its geographic footprint and installation capabilities. The acquisitions add distribution reach and regional installation presence in South Florida and the Dallas–Fort Worth / Houston markets and enhance RG's ability to serve both wholesale and retail customers.

Controlled Products Acquires Majority Stake in Purchase Green

The transaction closed in November 2019 and included a significant reinvestment by Purchase Green's management, which will remain in place to run the business; the deal expands Controlled Products' distribution footprint and product offerings across North America.
